“It was good that the dress stayed on line and sold a year later, I was surprised how much the viewings dropped however. In the end I was lucky and found a perfect match.”

About the Dress

‘Refined, gauze wedding dress, fitted at the waist, with a V-neck and A-line skirt. A Bohemian-inspired dress with superb, original embellishment in guipure at the eye-catching neckline.’ And RRP of £1510

Selling a beautiful Pronovias wedding dress, I purchased it new from the Bond street store and wore it last October 2019, since then it has been professionally cleaned and stored away in its protective hanging case.

The dress is a stunning just off white with a nude underlay, with an intricate lace top and plunge back. It is called ‘Orobia’ to google online.

I am smaller on my top than bottom, what I liked about it was the unique fitted lace top and very flattering skirt which skimmed the hips and sat between a closer fitting and more flared style. I tried on lots with mermaid style skirts but did not want too much fitting around my bum. It seemed the perfect balance and it was the most flattering dress I tried on by far. I also liked the longer train as I went down the aisle which could be easily held up on a wrist strap for photos and then I added a bustle later for dancing which worked perfectly (google the style to see the train!). I had so many compliments on the lace top which is really unique.

The dress is a size 12 on the label, although I had some fitting to make the top smaller, so that is probably a size 8-10 (I am a 32 bra size and smaller waist). I am 5 ft 10 and wore a 3 inch heal on the day so the length should be fairly adjustable. The professional cleaning of the dress seems to have brought up the bottom completely clean and looks like new.

Please let me know if you have any more questions, and if you are local to Balham, London, you would be very welcome to pop in and try it on. I would love it to go to a good home and for someone to love it as much as I did
