The Dress

This is a gorgeous and unique BRAND NEW WITH TAGS Coco Melody dress, and I’m very sad it didn’t fit me...which is all my fault because I thought I was skinnier than I am and ignored the measurement advice! Right now, I’m about an 8-10 in regular clothes. Wedding dress sizes are MUCH larger than everyday dress sizes, so my suggestion is to keep that in mind, wherever you look for your dress!

This dress has only been carefully tried on. I’m a very particular, persnickety person, so I got a shower before putting it on and laid down a clean sheet on the floor when I was trying on to keep the train pristine.

Not only is this dress beautiful, it is well-made. It has such a quality heft and gentle fluff to the train. I love the asymmetrical ruching, which smooths over any belly bumps you don’t love on yourself (this is my biggest problem!). I’d also say to think of it as a strapless fit, as the straps and STUNNING lace back are removable, so you can have two looks! The buttons that hold the removable part are very nicely sewn on and keep that part secure.

There are lovely, dainty floral appliqués, tiny pearls and sparkles. It’s definitely not a pure white, but ivory with a champagne underlay. The train is so elegant with some lace dispersed on various places. It has such a vintage vibe for those brides who love antiques and everything Art Deco. I absolutely love this dress, but bought the wrong size. I want someone else to enjoy it and be a princess on their big day.

It will come in its original plastic cover and box, plus the garment bag I bought and a nice hanger I added to keep it from slouching in the bag.
