The Dress
This Le Spose di Gio dress was purchased for my outdoor destination wedding in southern Georgia. The dress is a stretchy layer of silk charmeuse topped with 6 layers of silk chiffon over it. The color appears ivory in pictures, but it is ivory over a very light blush charmeuse. The v-neck is meant to be worn off the shoulders, but it can be adjusted either way. The dress has a lot of stretch so I would say it would work best for anyone size 0 - 4. I am 5'4" without heels and I wore 2.5 inch pink Jimmy Choo pumps. I have them in a size 36.5 if you are interested. I also purchased a veil that was very simple, ivory, and went beyond the train of my dress. The dress was $5500 new at Impressions Bridal in Atlanta, and the veil was $1100. The dress and veil have been professionally cleaned, preserved, and sealed (as you can see in the photo). I am including the veil with the dress so that I don't have to risk compromising the preservation of the gown. Please let me know if you have any questions at all!
Alterations
The dress was altered in the bust, waist and length. The alterations are perfect and you can't tell at all what was taken in. There is a bustle included in the dress as well and it was perfect for the reception.
