About the Dress

This BHLDN Miles gown is a dream- I think the pictures speak for themselves. I wore it for my September 2020 elopement and it knocked it out of the park- I felt like a goddess and my photographer was just dying getting all kinds of shots of my skirt swishing around. The fabric drapes beautifully but is not as heavy as it looks- kind of a stretchy light tulle. This is a gown that I was able to try on at the Denver BHLDN store, and I think most of their stores have it to try on. You can see more reviews of this dress here https://www.bhldn.com/products/miles-gown?color=Ivory&size=4 but it is something that looks good on EVERYONE....I'm muscular on top but also curvy and felt gorgeous...looks great on really curvy ladies AND slim ones. The best part of this dress is that its stretchy- I dropped from about a size 6 to 4 and it still fit great...no alterations needed except to the length. I would also say I had some room to "grow" if needed. It has some structure in the bodice so depending on your cup size it doesn't need a bra (just cover ups). The train is long and beautiful for dramatic photos...I had initially planned to cut it off but it was just so pretty I couldn't! It was dress cleaned and pressed and is in very good shape. For shorter folks the skirt is a raw edge so "easy" to hem (it is a lot of skirt though). If you need tips on how to stay warm when you are eloping and its 20 F degrees I'm also happy to give advice.
