Alterations

  • To my height, I'm 5'3 and wore a 4 inch heal
  • I had the seamstress leave a little longer than recommended because I did NOT want my shoes to show with each step
  • So you have a little wiggle room on height
  • This dress also had a very large gap in the chest area as it comes so I had the seamstress pull in the chest area to lessen the gap
  • They did this by closing the V split that comes with the dress and arranging the lace back how it came NOT adding and layering more lace
  • You can see in the photos it was done very well and the dress still looks like the original lace design
  • A bustle was added to the dress
  • It has 3 buttons but 2 are hidden under to give the illusion that there is only one when you are wearing it for a more modern look
  • Wish I had a picture with it up but I never used it!
