A hand crafted gown for the 'modern-Boheme meets classic vintage-loving beauty'. This divine, gently figure hugging halter neck gown is made from a vintage inspired luxe-lace that is original to Spell ~ you won't find this lace anywhere else because we designed it ourselves. Each panel of lace has been lovingly pieced together to form this gown, intricately finished with delicate lace floral motifs, hand cut and appliquéd onto the waist. The gown features a flattering open, lace up back that is easily adjusted to fit your form. Possibly the most striking feature of the dress though, is the vintage, cream embroidered mesh deep-frill, fish-tail hem that finishes off the gown.

The gown is classic and elegant with it's intricately detailed original Spell lace, but playful and modern with the halter neck and plunging, lace-up back ~ it's this incongruity that we cherish so dearly here at Spell. Whether it's destined to be worn stepping gracefully barefoot over cool white sand, or over the crunching leaves of an elfin forest, there's a little bohemian magic to this dress.

I adored this dress!!! The last photo is of me on my wedding and I felt like a magical gypsy bride!! I’m usually a size 8 (au) and I went with the medium to accommodate my larger bust. I’m So glad I did!! It fit beautifully and was so easy to take on and off, and comfortable I danced the night away!!!.
I did have it slightly taken in at the waist a few inches, but this will easily be picked out and doesn’t interrupt the flow of the dress.

I had plans to alter this dress after my wedding but it’s so beautiful as it is I would feel awful changing it. I’d love for someone to wear it again and give it a second life!.
