The Dress
Think how beautiful you will feel and look in this gorgeous satin ivory vintage wedding dress (1986). The satin fabric causes the dress to gleam and shimmer in reflected light. The high neck floor length dress with attached train has long sleeves with beaded lace from the elbow to wrist. The beaded and lace collar has a front v neckline also of lace and beads. A sheer insert runs diagonally from to the bust line to the hips. This insert is filled with bead work and lace. An attached small bow completes the detail at the waist. The back of the dress has a zipper and the train can be attached for dancing. To complete the vintage look this wedding dress has shoulder pads. The dress has been worn only once. It has been dry cleaned and will need to be steamed to get rid of wrinkles.
The dress comes with a vintage Juliet cap decorated with pearl beads and lace. Two tulle ruffles with beads complete this unique head piece. The attached tulle veil is composed of two lengths. One that goes to the shoulders and the other is waist length.
This magical dress was the wedding dress of my dreams and 34 years later it still is.
