The Dress

I hope that another bride feels as beautiful as I did wearing this wedding dress. It was flattering, comfortable, and everything I've ever dreamed of to wear on my wedding day.

The dress was worn once on my wedding day on September 5, 2020. I paid over $2,200 for the dress, including taxes and alterations. I had the dress professionally cleaned immediately after the wedding for $270.00.

The dress was purchased from 7th Avenue Fashions in Winnipeg, MB and was ordered in (not purchased off-the-rack). The dress is a UK size 14 (CAD size 10); however, I had the sides brought in twice, so it's fits more like a UK size 12 (CAD size 8). I'm a TRUE medium and size 6 in street wear.

Alterations

Alterations include: side of the bust was brought in twice, straps shortened by a bit, a pearl bustle was added, the triangle back was removed to create an open back, and the dress was hemmed (I'm 5'6 and with hemming the dress still touched the ground).
