The Dress
This dress was preserved in February 2018 and is currently in an airtight box. I purchased it in Vows Bridal Outlet in Watertown, MA, in April of 2017. The Wedding took place in December 2017, in Antigua, Guatemala. The day of the wedding was 70 degrees and sunny - the dress was perfect for the weather. It is light, easy to move around in, and flattering.
The shape of the dress made me feel beautiful, and the silhouette in the pictures is stunning.
The ring to hold the train of the dress gave in, so our wedding coordinator sewed it after the ceremony for the reception.
Alterations
I am 5'1" and was ~115lbs at the time. My normal dress size is 4. The dress was originally a size 8 and felt as normal size 6 would. It was altered to fit like a size 4.
