The Rue De Seine Cleo gown is a sheer caftan or kimono-like gown with hand knotted fringe and beautiful embroidery and beading over a high-low silk slip.

Size:

The beautiful caftan itself has about a 27" waist that could easily be altered larger or smaller (though I didn't touch this) as there is already some overlap when it is fastened shut.

The measurements otherwise are for the slip itself.

I also purchased the Double-Bloom belt (shown) for $395 which I am selling separately.

Original purchase:

The gown was purchased at Lovely Bride in New York City in 2015 for $3950 plus tax, and made in 2016 in New Zealand. I have the receipts as well.

I had the gown professionally dry cleaned immediately after the wedding at the best wedding dress cleaner in NYC, and it was packed by the cleaners in a wedding dress box for the best storage.

Alterations

I am a normal size 4 and the slip was tucked a little in alterations to be more fitted in the waist and bust. Cups were added to the slip which could be easily removed if you prefer. The measurements represent the slip.

I had the back of the caftan opened slightly (the seam cut a little) so that more back was revealed, which matched what you see in the editorial pieces featuring the Cleo gown. There are photos that show the back of the gown as it is.

I had a small hand loop added to the bottom of the train. This matched the editorial photos I'd seen and made moving with the gown easy and elegant. I am including a photo which shows this. It is very handy and allows you to dance in the dress with ease.
