This is a vintage-inspired satin dress from the popular eco-sustainable designer Minna Hepburn (www.minna.co.uk)

The Jada dress has valencienne lace v-shaped panels at the front and back, as well as in the elegant kimono-sleeves. It has a vintage-style button closure at the back. The maxi skirt is A-line and somewhat fitted. The waste is elasticized. The dress comes with a stunning and versatile silk belt which wraps around and falls softly, and is appliqued with lace flowers, all in ivory.

The Jada dress was featured in Bridal magazine. Minna's website also has photos of some other brides wearing the dress (including one photo of me!).

I wore this dress and belt once only, for our day wedding (no dancing) in January 2014 (in South Africa, thus the sunny weather!). Both the dress and belt were professionally cleaned afterwards, and are in excellent good-as-new condition. Neither has any stains, flaws or signs of wearing. There is a tiny mark from what could be a pen touching it lightly, just above the waist - it is barely visible. Please note that if this item is posted to you it will have to be steamed when you receive it, as the bridal satin creases easily in the post.

The dress is UK size 8, and because of the loose fit and elasticized waist should not need adjustments. In other words, if you are a UK size 8 it should fit you as is. I am about 162 cm and wore a medium-sized heel so the dress came to my toes, but on Minna's website you will see on the model (i.e. taller people than me!) the dress comes to just below ankle-height.

The dress is absolutely stunning in person - gorgeous satin and intricate lace, and it feels wonderful on. The skirt falls beautifully. The belt is breathtaking: soft and romantic, and very versatile as it can be tied many times around, or be left to float behind like a sort of trail/veil. If you bought the Jada dress new it would cost you £600 and the belt would be an additional £50.
