The Dress

Selling my A La Robe silk Amanda gown in immaculate condition, dry cleaned by a specialist the day after the wedding. No stains at all. This is a Small - I am an AU 8 and it fit me well. Because of this, only minor alterations were made to the hem and the strap length. This slip style dress is very flattering and there is a little bit of give in the size because of the relaxed fit - it skims the body, rather than being super figure hugging. The low back also makes it a bit more flexible for different bodies and sizes. It will just sit slightly differently. I have very narrow hips and a small waist so the back gaped quite a bit on me (which I didn’t mind - see the pics for reference). If you’re a bit bigger at the bottom, it won’t gape quite as much but will look equally as stunning (e.g. https://www.stillwhite.com.au/151228-a-la-robe).
The fabric is beautiful - 100% silk, really soft and not too thin/shear, this meant that I could wear it without a bra. The dress is fully lined. The criss cross detail is very flattering. Please do get in touch if you would like any further information or pictures.

Please note - I purchased this dress off Still White with the above details in April 2020. After trying it on, it is too short for me and I am absolutely devastated as it is the most beautiful dress!

Alterations

- dress taken up to fit my height (with heels) - straps lengthened as I preferred it cut lower at the bust. This can easily be shortened to original length - small under loop added to bottom of the dress so I could hold the dress to avoid dragging the train along the ground
