The Dress
Unworn and unaltered Tara LaTour "Phillips" dress. This dress is part of LaTour's Rose + Williams line from 2019. It was just ordered in November, and delivered in March 2020 - I've never opened the box, so it's really brand new!
The dress is a beautiful ivory matte satin, with clean lines and modern details like pockets, a deep v-neck and two stays that run down the front and two in the back. Although it's an a-line dress, the skirt is light and does not have any tulle or thick under-layers, so it lays pretty straight. The shape of the skirt and train has beautiful movement. The fabric is just thick enough to not see through, but not heavy. It was purchased for a June wedding, but really seems perfect for any weather.
It's an extremely flattering and elegant dress, and while I didn't get to wear it, I did see many different ways other brides have styled it online. It really seems like it could fit any wedding location or vibe!
