The Dress

This is a stunning, feminine and ethereal gown with beautiful hand-embroidered floral appliqué that delicately trails down the skirt. It makes you look and feel effortlessly beautiful, relaxed but elegant. I think this is the charm of Alexandra Grecco designs - that unique understated chic bridal vibe which is timeless and beautiful.

Alexandra Grecco makes this gown both with or without the skirt slit (the 3rd photo in this listing shows the dress with the slit). I ordered mine with NO skirt slit.

The Lana has been designed and crafted beautifully. It has a gentle A-line silhouette which would flatter almost any body type. The delicate hand-embroidered floral appliqué is incredibly beautiful (even more so in person) - I could not stop admiring it throughout the day and neither could the guests at my wedding!

The low slight-V back is incredibly flattering and gives the illusion of a slender waist. It shows just enough back for a subtly sexy feel, while still keeping it classy and very wearable.

The ethereal tulle skirt falls beautifully and swishes softly as you turn or walk. The soft champagne illusion tulle blends into the skirt and lends a bit of softness and dimension when layered with the ivory. This is one of the understated details which make this dress so stunning and sets it apart from other tulle dresses - it is hard to do it justice with words!

The dress is described as off white on AG’s website, but in real life it looks more like ivory. It is a beautiful colour and gave my skin a soft glow - something which I didn’t find in other dresses I tried.
 
I ordered this dress from Alexandra Grecco’s exclusive bridal studio retailer in Singapore at about USD3,500 (I have the receipt). I only wore this once on my wedding day in November 2019. It is in excellent condition, has been dry-cleaned and stored carefully in the original Alexandra Grecco garment bag in a smoke-free home.

NO SKIRT SLIT - Alexandra Grecco makes the Lana with or without the skirt slit. I ordered this dress without the slit, but you could ask a tailor to add a slit if you prefer.

Alterations

This is labelled size 0. According to AG’s size guide (which the bridal studio sent me), measurements for their size 0 are:
Bust 32”
Waist 25”
Hips 35”

I had the straps shortened slightly (can be easily let out) and waist taken in by an inch.

I am 1.6m tall (about 5’3”) tall and had this hemmed slightly to wear 3-inch heels.
