Sheath

I have decided to sell this beloved wedding dress, as I would only dare wear it once, and would love for somebody else to get to wear it! It's an intricately designed piece, in pristine condition, and I am hoping to sell it at a fair price to someone who will appreciate it.

This dress is a work of art which took my breath away (and my husband's) and was incredibly easy and a lot of fun to wear at our (windy) summer wedding in Mykonos, Greece. I would describe this dress as romantic boho luxe with beautiful, modern lace.

Underneath is a silk Georgette underlay in a nude colour, plus another very thin layer of transparent silk chiffon which is offset by the unique white lace over the top. The look of the dress appears see through, however the underneath layers ensure the dress is not completely transparent but allows for the body's silhouette to appear when in the sun. You're able to easily wear nude underwear or spanx.

The dress has a high split on the left side with lace along the split, your leg shows when you walk or sit and the dress falls gorgeously around your leg as it moves. The same lace that runs along the split is also on the bell sleeves which pop around the wrist. The dress includes boning along the waist and bust to create a flattering silhouette. Also included are hand-sewn floral appliques with subtle beading around each piece to sparkle a bit, but not take away from the beauty of the overall fabric.

It was custom made by one of Brisbane's most regarded and experienced (30+ years) dress makers, who has applied some amazing attention to detail, using only the highest quality materials and Italian dress-making techniques. She was also really lovely to work with if you ever wanted to adjust the dress.

The whole dress is light however has been made to fall and flow so beautifully.
