The Dress

This dress is labeled a size 2 (American), but is an Australian size 8. It was bought from Bella Donna Bridal in Wooloongabba and has been dry cleaned by Leons Fine Dry Cleaning.

It is in perfect condition and looks as new. This dress comes from a smoke free home.

It is a super lightweight and easy dress to wear. It was a pleasure to spend the day in it. It moved with me easily and I didnt trip on it once. It gave me the support I needed and I never felt like I was going to pop out of the top.

The dress is ivory, a-line with cascading re-embroidered lace applique bodice down to an organza skirt. It has a sweep train.

The dress came with a removable ivory satin ribbon belt with jewel encrusted flowers on it. I took the belt off and added a thinner ivory ribbon with no embelishments. This can be easily removed or have another belt put over the top. The original belt will be with the dress.

The only alterations I had done to the dress are the belt as described and a bustle added (which was handy for the reception).

Also included is a short 2 tier veil on comb to match the dress (shown in photos) and beaded flower comb.
