The Dress

David Fielden style number 618813 ivory/stone, lace over silk floor-length dress with 3/4 length sleeves. Sheer neckline with embroidered butterflies/flowers with very subtle sparkle details to the butterflies/flowers.

Zip to back, then a hidden clasp, and a button at the top of the sheer back.

Worn once, at my wedding. I was a small size 10 at the time of purchase/wearing, and the boutique where I purchased the dress advised me that, with this designer and specific dress, they would need to order the dress in a size 14, to fit my size 10 figure. I then had the dress tailored to my exact size. The dress was tailored to me with a height of 5 ft 8.5 inches (174cm), weighing 9.1 stone (57.7 kg). Bust size 34C.

The dress was dry-cleaned immediately after wearing, and has been in a very carefully wrapped box ever since. I opened it today for the first time to take the photos to make this listing.

The dress is in excellent condition. I have checked it thoroughly. There is the smallest speck of dirt to the underside of the bottom of the silk at the back. I had to look really hard to see it. This isn't visible unless the dress is turned over and examined in detail from the underside. There also appears to be a very small area to the left side of the dress where the stitching has come loose. I have included this in the photo gallery. This would be very easily mended, and it look me a long time to see this, as it is not at all immediately visible.
