The Dress

2019 Ivory & Co bespoke wedding dress - compromising of the White Lavender Bodice and the Moonshine Skirt. Both pieces are still current season with Ivory & Co (website links listed below).

Bodice: Pale Ivory. Silk taffeta (100% silk) and fine Italian lace. Sweetheart neckline. Delicate French eyelash edge lace overlay. Internal eyelet corset.
Skirt: Ivory. Floaty layers of soft silk chiffon (100% silk).

Fitted in March 2019 for an April wedding. Has only been worn once for our Miami wedding.

One of the reasons I loved this dress was although it had many beautiful layers to give it fullness, it was not heavy or too hot.

There is a lot of support and security in the bodice, with a corset fastening, a zip and the delicate buttons on the outside.

Dress has been professionally dry cleaned (proof of receipt available) however due to the 3 beautiful layers of silk chiffon the dress will definitely need professionally steaming.

I have personally checked the dress over in full after cleaning. I could not see any marks, stains or damage. However, since I wore this dress with no shoes on the beach there are very minor scuffs on the bottom of the inner silk layer which are not noticeable as they are on the inner layer (I can provide photographs).

Dress will be posted in a wedding dress specific box which was hand-luggage size, (The Empty Box Company - worth £40+) with the original, unused dress bag.

Alterations

Ordered a Ivory & Co size 10 (quite generous with their sizes) but then it was taken in at the waist, ribs and underarm. As well as taken up to fit my height without heels (165cm).
Due to these alterations, my seamstress has told me that it is accurate to advertise this dress as a Size 10.
