This dress was amazing to wear on the day and did I mention it has pockets. Stella York say it was royal inspired and I can tell you I definitely felt like royalty. It was super comfortable, easy to walk in and looked so elegant. I just loved it.
Designer Notes: Made of matte Mikado fabric, the ballgown silhouette features a modern empire waist and open, square back. A small pleat in the skirt allows the ballgown skirt to keep its shape beautifully. Fabric covered buttons run down the length of the train and pockets have been added for one final modern touch.
The dress was ordered in a size 14 (Stella York is definitely smaller than your high street size) and tailored to my actual size 12.
The dress has been dry cleaned successfully with no stains.
An underskirt with hoop is required for the dress and I purchased one therefore I will add this in for free.

- Alterations made were the front was shortened for around height 5ft5
- The side seams were brought in and shoulders shortened
- Bra boosters were also added
- A re-inforced button and hook was created for hooking up the train
