About the Dress

Absolutely stunning 1920s style gown, definitely has the wow effect. Super comfortable, I had it on all day and night in 30 degrees heat, no chafing etc. Had it altered slightly to my height, I’m 5’4 and was wearing heels 2 inches high. It’s size 10 but the material is quite stretchy, so it doesn’t feel tight. Was gutted when I had to take it off, it’s so beautiful!
Paid £2000 plus £160 for dry cleaners and repair (please see the pictures). Unfortunately someone must have stepped on my trail and there was a little hole. It’s patched up and when you have the trail down you can’t see it, but you may want to put a little appliqué or something to cover it if it bothers you. I was told by the seamstress that this is the best they could do, as the material is very thin. The dress is quite delicate and few beads came off, but again, it’s not something that you notice straight away, only when you look closely. I was trying to expose that in the pictures, but even there it isn’t obvious.
As mentioned, it was dry cleaned but the very bottom is not pristine white - again, not something that you really notice.
