Alterations

  • I had a professional seamstress add darts to the bust area on this dress to cinch it in
  • However, they are easily removed as no fabric was cut
  • I have a larger bust and I found that when this dress arrived it gaped slightly at the bust due to this
  • The darts tailored the bust area and made it look perfect
  • If you have a larger bust like me but you are a size 10 the darts will work perfectly, however if you have a smaller bust and want them removed then they are easily removed as no fabric was cut or damaged when they were added

About the Dress

The original Hollie dress by Grace Loves Lace. This is a stunning boho dress which I absolutely adore and loved wearing on my wedding day. It was my dream dress and the only dress I tried on. As soon as I put it on I knew I wouldn't find another dress as stunning. It was so comfortable, made from a soft stretch french lace and the silk chiffon strips over the top make it flow and glide as you walk down the aisle. You literally step into this dress and pull it on, there’s no zips or uncomfortable boning.

I will also include my headpiece which I wore on the day, also purchased from Grace Loves Lace.

My wedding was in Bali and this dress felt so light and perfect for a warmer weather wedding.

I am a size 10 and sometimes closer to a 9 and this dress fit perfectly. As it has stretch in it I think you could be slightly smaller or larger than my measurements and it would still fit beautifully.

I had this dress professionally dry cleaned after my wedding and it has been stored in the box and tissue paper since. It is in perfect condition, ready for you to wear on your special day.

The dress needs to be steamed the night before you wear it, which is what grace loves lace recommend. I won’t steam it before I send it as it will only need to be done again. I am happy to send the dress in its box with all original tags and coat hanger for whoever purchases the dress.
