Alterations

  • This dress had a few alterations, the sleeves were so tight, but the bodice was quite big, the seamstress kept saying this dress was made without shoulders in mind! She took in the bodice and the hip area and put darts in the bust line since there are no cups in the dress
  • The darts helped to give a little shape to the bust area
  • She also hemmed it and put in a bustle
  • The seamstress was amazing and she only does wedding dresses, she has done hundreds so I was very confident she could make it work and she did!

My wedding day was amazing and I loved wearing this beautiful and unique dress. We got married on the beach (didn't get in the water)and I probably wore it for 3-4hours. It's in excellent used condition. Looks brand new. No stain or tears. Dry-cleaned!

I tried on a lot of wedding dresses at a lot of different bridal boutiques and this one was perfect for me. I loved the long train and I loved the buttons down the back. I loved that it just clings to the booty ;) It was such a fun and special dress to wear on my special day! The low back was something I wanted - so not bra friendly.

I wore this in the summer but it was in Oregon so it was a cool, partly sunny day. No rain! I think this dress would beautiful for a fall/winter wedding as well.

When I got married, I was 135 pounds, give or take the day ;) And I am 5'5.

I wore 2inch heels/sandals with the dress.
