About the Dress

I LOVE this dress and the thought of preserving it in a box, at the back of my wardrobe just doesn’t seem right. This dress shines and for that reason, it needs to be enjoyed… not stored in a box! I would love someone to be able to wear this dress and experience all the joys I did when I wore it. The compliments were endless (still are) and I have never felt more beautiful.

This dress is the Avril Gown by New Zealand designer Rue De Seine. The Avril Gown is inspired by brave, bold, daring women. It has an all over dramatic Cornelli Lace, with placements designed to flatter the figure from all angles. Cut out details on the train and sleeves, low back, full skirt and train. Comes with ivory slip.

We got married in South Georgia, in April 2019 and it was HOT, but even with the long sleeves I was comfortable.

Imperfections: There are two small holes in the mesh at the back. This can easily be fixed by a seamstress. There is also some discoloration around areas of the hem, both on the mesh and the slip. However this is not noticeable (even when you look it is hard to see) it is definitely not noticeable at all when the dress is on. I can provide more photos for serious inquiries.
