About the Dress

The perfect dress for feeling like a princess and dancing the night away. This dress has a creamy/blush base with cream tulle and chiffon over it, which makes it perfect for a not-quite-white bridal look. The white lace on the bodice has silver stitching that catches the light and matches the silver and ivory crystal belt (which is attached directly to the dress). The front is a boat neck neckline of see-through lace with bodice fabric in a sweetheart neckline underneath. True buttons all the way up the back, with much of the back being see-through lace, with the bodice fabric beginning in a V shape a little under halfway down the back. I had the dress hemmed to be just a bit above the ground when I wore kitten heels so that I could dance in it. (I'm 5'9" and my kitten heels are about 1.5") The movement of the dress is truly beautiful. It has a substantial, but not overly long train (about sweep to chapel length) that I bustled up for the reception. I chose not to wear a crinoline underneath for more of an A-line look, but adding a crinoline would definitely take this dress to ballgown status.
