Jenny Packham, Aspen

I purchase this beautiful Jenny Packham Aspen gown from Helen Rodrigues in Neutral Bay for my Tasmanian countryside wedding in March 2013.

This Jenny Packham Aspen dress is a dream wedding dress for a modern-vintage bride. The gown design showcases beautiful chiffon, chantilly lace cap sleeves and sequins dotted around the bodice, sleeves and back. A row of silk clad buttons secures the back of the dress from the neck down to the waist. The waist is clinched by a silk sequin embellished sash (front) which continues around into a flat bow at the back. The bodice falls away into a silk skirt which skims the hips and bottom, filling out into a long puddle train.

The Aspen gown gained a following after Jenny Packham used an image of the gown to lead her worldwide 2012 Spring/Summer collection campaign. It again received media buzz after Kate Middleton wore a peacock version to the 2012 Olympic Gala.

I am the original owner with the receipt and dress tags. This dress has had no alterations to the main structure of the dress. The gown has been taken up by a few centimetres at the bottom of the gown by Helen Rodrigues dressmaker who alters all of the designer gowns she stocks in her Sydney boutique. The dress is in impeccable condition and was only worn for 6 hours. The gown was professionally dry cleaned by blue and white dry cleaners who are regarded as the leading wedding dress specialists in Sydney who rapped the gown in acid free tissue paper.
