I love the idea! Wedding dresses are so expensive and worn for such a short time. I also wasn't able to buy the dress I liked because my wedding was in 8 months, but the dress took 5 months to custom make and I was worried about rushing alterations. This was a great alternative to getting the exact dress I wanted at less than 1/2 the cost. One thing I did struggle with- designers obviously change their dresses every year and given brides buy their dresses way in advance, there is a time lag between what you can try on in the store and what is available for resale on the secondary market. I'm not sure how to solve, but would love a way to anticipate when certain dresses might be available given timing is critical for this purchase.

I got this beautiful Watters wedding dress from London Bride Couture for £2,900. This dress definitely stands out for its full Swarovski crystals, yet it has a beautiful elegance to it. I have only worn it for the ceremony and to take some photos, therefore some of the tulles from the inner ones (it has 5 layers) has a small tear. Please contact me if you want further details.
