Hi there,

I am looking to sell my beautiful NEW Wendy Makin 'ELLIE' gown which I recently purchased for $2300 (copy of receipt available upon request).

To cut a long story short, I will no longer be wearing this gown and am looking for a new owner.

This gown is size 10 and has not been altered at all, though it can easily be altered to an 8 or 12 if necessary.
Ellie is current season, vintage style, strapless. It was ordered through a Wendy Makin stockist in Sydney earlier this year and it only arrived a few weeks ago.

Ellie is a timeless lace gown with a sweetheart strapless neckline supported by a boned bodice which is very slimming. The gown features ivory french chantilly lace overlaying champagne coloured satin.

Ellie is fastened at the back with a neat zip hidden behind a row of beautiful pearl buttons which run down the spine. It is finished off elegantly with an ivory satin ribbon tied at high waist to enhance your figure and the style of the gown. It has a small train and is very light and comfortable to wear with silky finish on the inside. It also comes with an ivory satin ribbon to bustle.

I've been told Ellie looks beautiful in wedding photos because of the contrast in colours between the champagne satin and ivory lace.

There is also the option to add your own variations if this is what you'd prefer. For example, you could go with a different coloured sash and add a vintage rhinestone brooch/applique. You could also add a hoop skirt for a fuller look around the base of the gown. You could add cap sleeves or a keyhole back also, though you would need to contact Wendy Makin in Brisbane to discuss options available.
