A Jenny Packham 'Aspen' gown is for sale. I wore the dress in March 2013 for our vintage countryside wedding.

This vintage inspired all-silk gown oozes 1930s glamour. The design showcases beautiful chiffon, Chantilly lace cap sleeves and sequins dotted around the bodice, sleeves and back. A row of silk clad buttons secures the back of the dress from the neck down to the waist. The waist is clinched by a silk sequin embellished sash (front) which continues around into a flat bow at the back. The bodice falls away into a silk skirt which skims the hips and bottom, filling out into a long puddle train.

The Aspen gained a following after Jenny Packham used an image of the gown to lead her worldwide 2012 Spring/Summer collection campaign. It again received media buzz after Kate Middleton wore a peacock version to the 2012 Olympic Gala.

This gown was made to order in the UK based upon their smallest size UK 8. The sizing felt a bit generous so the following alterations were been made on the dress
- The gown was taken in around the waist
- The waist was lifted as it sat approx. 3cm below my natural waist.
- The dress was taken up to suit my 161cm frame (which I wore with 14cm high heels).

All alterations were done by Helen Rodriguez's dressmaker who alters all of the designer gowns she stocks in her Sydney boutique. Below are the sizings I provided Helen for her to order the best size gown to suit me however it is important to note that as the dress is not skin tight (it is unbelievably comfortable to wear!) slightly smaller/larger measurements would also fit well:
- Bust 32 inches
- Under bust - 28.5 inches
- Waist (smallest part) 24 inches
- Hip - (biggest part) 36 inches

The gown is in fabulous condition. It has been dry cleaned by Syndals Bridal Drycleaners, wrapped in acid free tissue paper and professionally boxed for long term storage.
