Made with Love's Willow was my dream dress. The day I tried it on, I cried and felt every bit the bride. It was absolutely perfect for my wedding day and everything I dreamed my dress would feel like. It's a perfect mixture of traditional and modern with the lace bodice, revealing just the right amount of skin and the full 9 layers of tulle skirt with a subtle but sexy slit up the leg (which is only revealed purposefully). This dress is so comfortable and I didn't want to take Willow off. She is so much fun to dance in, I spent much of my night twirling in circles; much to my Auntie's delight.

I am 5' 6" (169cm) and generally a size 6-8 in street clothes. I have a small bust but am broad so the dress fits a lot of different body shapes. Lower body size is not really an issue in this dress due to the many layers of tulle.

Alterations

  • The length of the dress was taken up slightly and I had 7cm heels and the dress was perfect length, if not a tiny bit long
  • I had the straps taken up very slightly as I have a small bust and had small cups sewn in (as otherwise the lace is see through)
  • The straps can easily be let out and the tulle can be cut if too long for you
