Alterations

Length was taken up a couple of cms, but the dress maker did not cut the length (she moved the individual lace flowers up) so it can be made longer if required
Taken in slightly under the arms to fit comfortably around the chest, but still drops from under the bust down
Bustle added to the back which enabled me to dance the night away! This comprises of a loop and button to take length off the floor
Straps shortened but kept strap length (again no cutting), so it can be unpicked for someone wanting longer straps

Selling my magical Ivory Grace Loves Lace Rosa Gown.

I am 5’9 (1.75cm) and usually wear size 10-12 NZ/AU Sizing. I ended up going with a ready to wear size L (AUS 14) so it wouldn’t be too snug around the hips and hug the tummy too much. I wanted the lace look without the super super fitted feel. With a few minor alterations, it was perfect for the look I wanted.

It is stretchy while still being fitting at the same time and was so easy to wear all night long!

(I fitted into M on the GLL sizing chart, but went with L)

I didn’t need a bra, honestly, it’s the first dress I have ever worn without a bra (I am D Cup).

Stored back in its original GLL garment bag.

Cleaned as per handwash instructions on GLL care card (gentle spotwash and air dry)it has come out beautifully.
