Selling my beautiful One Day Bridal - Broome Gown.
The broome gown is the off-the-shelf ‘Chosen’ design, so this dress would be perfect for someone who may have their eye on that dress in the shop but looking for a saving!
The hour glass design has a plunging neckline, v-shaped back and structured shoulder detail making it modern yet classic! The fabric is bonded georgette which felt like a dream to wear, with a satin lining and invisible zip. Dress has both bustle up and hand elastic options so you can dance the night away comfortably.
I’m sadly not sentimental enough to keep it and don’t want to such an amazing gown go to waste in my wardrobe.
Worn at my wedding in late November 2018, it was taken straight to the dry cleaners the day after (at the highly reputable Syndal’s in Armadale) where it has come up perfectly. I picked it up last weekend and it’s now available.
FYI - I am based in Hampton, Melbourne. Happy for try-ons at my home, or postage at the buyers costs.
Condition
- Used
- Dry cleaned
- Georgette fabric
Alterations
- I’m a split size (8 up top, small waist and 10 in the hips) so the dress was made in a size 10 and then altered accordingly by the one-day in-house team
- Can be easily altered by a good seamstress!
- I added a delicate waist belt as outlined in the pictures, to add a little more structure to the body/draw in my waist, but this could be easy removed
- We had very slight cup moulds added to the bust – I’m a C-cup normally so it’s more for shape then enhancement
- These again could be easily removed by a seamstress
- I’m 5”10 so the hem is nice and long for any tall girls, but also could be easily taken up if you’re shorter
