This beautifully designed dress was handmade in NZ - by the A La Robe designer, Elizabeth Soljak.

I wanted something unique, that had a touch a french lace. I wanted something elegant and timeless so I could look back on my pictures and know that the style did not change with the era. I wanted something sexy that was easy to move in - where I could be comfortable in all my photos and throughout the evening. I wanted something that was both simple, yet unique and above all something I still felt like myself in.

All my wants were met with this dress.

I did actually purchase another dress before this one that felt wrong as soon as I left the shop. The decision to buy a second dress was a big one, but the best decision I made. I absolutely loved this dress! I know to many people that look back on their wedding dress wishing they had worn something else - Not Me!

The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned, but unfortunately still has some discolourations to a small (about 20cm)section of the lace on the train. You can see this in the last photo. It would not be noticeable when you wear it. But is still not "perfect". It could possibly be removed by hand washing.

It is otherwise still a beautiful dress, in great condition and a steal for the price.

Please note: I will only be in Melbourne until around Australia day. If you would like to try it on it would be best to do it before then as I will be moving interstate.
