Jenny Packham, 'aspen'

This is the Jenny Packham 'Aspen' dress from current Jenny Packham Spring/Summer Collection.

Our wedidng features in this month's Cosmo Bride and also Vogue (Italian Vogue) - I am sure the dress played a part in that!

I first fell in love with the teal version of this dress that Kate Middleton wore to the 2012 Olympic Gala last year. Soon after, I became engaged and when I found out Jenny Packham also made the drress in ivroy for her bridal collection, I knew it was the one for me! As soon as I tried it on, I just knew, it was the only dress I tried on! It was simply perfect.

Not only is the dress stunning, but it is so comfortable to wear - and you want to be comfortable on your wedding day! I felt absolutely amazing in the dress. I am sad to part with it, but I hope that someone else can get as much joy out of the dress as I have.
It has an amazing chantilly lace back, lace cap sleeves and lace detailing in the bodice. It has a short train and I had a loop added to allow me to walk around.

It is a Jenny Packham size UK12 - some say this is an equivelant to a size 10 Australian but a lot of people seem to think the UK and Australian sizes are the same, so I would say it's a 10-12. It was professionally dry-cleaned striaght after the wedding and in perfect condition. I had it slightly altered at the hem (taken up by just a couple of cm's) by a seamstress. I am 169cm tall and wore 4-inch heels.
