The Wyatt Gown is for the modern, romantic bride. Stretch crepe and lace are used throughout the body, and careful panelling and trim placement create a dramatic silhouette. Nude tulle rouleaux allows for a trendy strapless aesthetic with the support of over shoulder straps. An extreme train adds drama to the overall look of the Wyatt.
I purchased the Wyatt dress from The Bridal Atelier in Prahran, Melbourne (receipt available upon request).
I chose the Wyatt for its dramatic silhouette - a close-fitting mermaid style that hugged my hourglass figure before fanning out behind me as I walked down the aisle in summery Portugal. It makes for the most stunning photos and is also extremely comfortable!

Alterations
- I typically wear an AU 8 or 10, however due to my generous hips, I ordered an AU 12
- I then had the following alterations done by Parisima in Melbourne:
- the straps shortened
- cups added (size D)
- the rest of the dress taken in, particularly around the chest and waist (the bust and waist would fit an AU 8-10, the hips an AU 10-12)
- the dress nipped in at the knees to exaggerate and enhance the mermaid shape
- the dress hemmed (I am ~172cm tall and wore 11cm heels)
- a bustle added (with 3 buttons to securely hold the train, which is quite heavy)
