Sarah Seven, By The Candlelight

Worn on my wedding day in Feb 2013, I would describe this gorgeous gown as understated and simple, sophisticated, fun and really easy to wear.
It was the soft, creamy colour and bustier-style bodice that first attracted me to the dress.
The main feature is the vertical pleats, which adds an interesting texture and creates a flattering silhouette.
Along the sweetheart neckline is a ruffled frill that lines the bust nicely and adds a fun, feminine detail. Alternatively, these can be tucked in to create more of a streamlined look and emphasises the bustier-style.
The waistband creates a great shape and would flatter any figure. I tied a plain velvet ribbon around the waist to keep it simple, but also looks beautiful with an embellished belt.
The skirt has two layers, with an uneven hem line to create angles and interest. I chose to wear it straight down to elongate the silhouette, but can also be worn pinned up for a fuller skirt or layered look.
The gown has an inbuilt bra, invisible zip up the back and hook and eye to keep it fastened.
I'm a size 10 and 167cm tall, and had a few alterations made to the length and bodice.
The dress has been dry-cleaned and comes with its original bag. There are some faint marks at the hem line, which won't be noticeable when you're wearing it.
The designer is Sarah Seven, made and imported from the States. The dress is called 'By the Candlelight' - google for more images, different looks and ways of accessorising.
This is a fantastic gown, definitely worth trying on.
