It has been a difficult decision for me to sell this gown, but I have come to the realisation that I would prefer someone else to love it as much as I do instead of locking it up in a cupboard. It is too beautiful to only make one appearance in it's lifetiime!

This Elizabeth De Varga gown has been adapted from its original design to suit my taste by adding two fabric flowers around the sweetheart neck line and increasing the width of the vintage lace straps. The flowers can be easily removed from the dress if it is not to your taste. All alterations were carried out professionally by Elizabeth De Varga and they did the most exquisite job.
There is a beaded vintage lace section in the skirt that falls beautifully off the left hip and is scalloped at the bottom. Soft tulle fabric rouches over the stomach area which is very forgiving and made me feel so comfortable on my wedding day. Even though this gown has a fair amount of beading, I can honestly say it was the most comfortable dress to wear for an entire day - unlike many other dresses I tried on that were uncomfortable after two minutes with their scratchy beading!

The only fault to this gown is a slight rip in the tulle train - it is barely noticeable but it's there. This happened when my maid of honour accidentally stepped on it with her heel before we even got to the chapel! Apart from that, the gown is in immaculate condition and has been professionally dry cleaned by Leon's Fine Dry Cleaning in Brisbane.

I am a bit confused with how bridal gowns are sized, but to give you an idea, I am about 160cm tall and am a size 8-10 at the top and 10-12 at the hips in 'normal' clothes.

The veil I wore is an exact match in the tulle fabric to that on the dress. It is fingertip length and quite plain - no embellishments. I will happily offer this at no extra charge to the purchaser of the gown - my gift to you!
