The Dress

This dress brought me to tears when I first tried it on. The dress sparkled as the sequins reflected the light, the A line provided a beautiful layered flowing skirt that flared out as I twirled and the delicate beaded lace motifs placement flattered my body shape.

On my wedding day, I felt like a real princess as the dress just sparkled and flowed. It was really comfortable, easy to move in and the skirt easy to manage. The lattice lace up back was perfect so the waist could be adjusted in case I needed to, I was thinking food belly or just bloating!

The colour is oyster but I did notice especially in the photos how it changed between shades of grey to pink as it reflected different light throughout the day. The lining is ivory and the top layer is oyster made of a delicate combination of lace, sequins, beads and strategically placed motifs.

Alterations

Bustle added, length taken up (I'm 166cm, shoes 10cm high). It was originally a strapless dress (see last photo) and the shoulder straps were added using the cut off from the length.
