Alterations

Alterations were done by the seamstress at the bridal shop I purchased my dress at
made the lace straps slightly thinner
Slip was altered to be the same size of the lace applique overlay
Both the slip and lace overlay were taken in at the bust/trunk about 2 inches on each side to make it more fitted to my body
This dress is NOT super restricted
What I mean by that is that there is room for some body fluctuation
I could have been 5 lbs thinner or 5 lbs heavier and it still would have fit nicely
Hemmed at the bottom of the dress to go with 3" wedges
When standing straight, the dress is floor length
When walking down the aisle, you can maybe see the the tip of toes/shoe depending on how big your steps are
Added a bustle which is super easy to use
There are 3 small hooks, 1 on the slip and 2 on the lace overlay
Just attach the loops to the hook
I did not add cups to my dress but can be easily placed by any seamstress
I wore a sticky self adhesive bra and it worked just perfect!

About the Dress

There truly aren't enough words to describe exactly how stunning I felt on my wedding day. I received so many compliments in this dress and would do anything to relive it. Now why would I ever want to give up something so special to me might you ask? My husband and I are so close to reaching our goal for a downpayment on a house, and every penny counts. This was (and will forever remain) my dream dress and I can't wait to pass it on to someone else so that they can feel just as beautiful on their wedding day as I did for mine.

DETAILS OF THE DRESS:

Proof of Receipt: lost the receipt but can show proof on my credit card statement that it was bought from an Allure Bridals authorized distributor.

This is a 2 piece gown: Cafe in color (shade of ivory with a hint of silver) charmeuse slip + ivory lace applique overlay with embroidery & crystal beading. This dress has straps that give a V- Neckline with an open V-back, natural waistline, and a sheath train. It is simple yet elegant, comfortable, super lightweight, and flatters the body in all the right places. I wore it in church for the ceremony followed by an outdoor reception.

This dress is in very good condition. It has been used once by myself. It has been dry cleaned and color looks great as if I bought it from the store. The only thing that is "wrong" with it is that it has minor discoloration marks on the INSIDE slip of the dress. It cannot be seen when worn and cannot be seen by vertical pictures as if you photographer were taking still shots of your dress hanging. Only visible when visibly looking, and again, on the inside of the dress. I can surely provide more pictures upon request. If you have any questions at all, please contact me and I will be happy to answer them. Buying a dress over the internet can be fearful and cause ur mind to go crazy, "is it legit? is it worth the risk? what if it doesnt fit? no returns? what if I dont like it? etc."

I completely understand that and will tell you I will give you my honest opinion on whether I think this dress will be the one for you. I will provide unlimited pictures, videos, measurements, try-on in person if possible, or whatever u need to make you feel assured. Planning a wedding is already stressful and can get crazy ; the last thing I want is to make anyone feel like they got ripped off or have them regret they bought it.

Three weeks prior to my dress, my dress was altered to be fitted at 105lbs. The Day of the wedding I was 100lbs, and my dress was more loose but comfortable. I did not know my exact measurements.

I have gained weight after the wedding now 110lbs and it still fits, but it is obviously more snug than I prefer. Current measurements: Bust "32, Waist "27 and Hips "36. Everyone's body frame is different, lets chat if your interested
