A WORD ON THE DESIGNER

Dalal has designed wedding and evening dresses for 40 years. "I have always loved dealing with fashion. My mother worked as a tailor and since I was a child I loved playing with fabric and scissors, advise my relatives what to wear and how to upgrade the clothing."

At the age of 17 Riki Dalal designed her best friend's bridal gown. Ever since, the hobby she loved so much became a profession. Today, her dresses are sold in many exclusive boutiques around the world.

THE VERONA HAUTE COUTURE COLLECTION

The renowned Israeli designer revealed a collection lineup of wedding dresses that shared a story of effortless glamour and sophistication, paving the way for the new era of bridal couture. We are talking about daring yet traditional silhouettes showcasing utterly breath-taking and original gowns.

And the detail... Magnificent, don’t you think?

Completely couture, this piece is hand beaded with a pearl bodice, straps and jaw-dropping detail on the back. In true Riki Dalal fashion, the sheer panels give a trompe l'oeil effect of floating pearls that hug the figure.

The satin curves to your body, and is magically cut to enhance your shape. While being exceptionally sexy, the dress flows out to a classic and elegant train.

This is a haute couture piece from Riki Dalal's Verona 2017 collection. This is a brand new dress that has only been worn by the model in my photos (excuse my living room!) There has only been one dress made to this specification, as it is a 'made to measure' adaption of Riki Dalal's Verona (1805) design, created with a satin, mermaid silhouette.
