The Dress

Madi Lane Darci dress in white. Dress has been altered (I am 5’2 wearing 3” heels in the altered photos).

I had ordered a size 2- based on my measurements at the boutique. When the dress came, it was entirely too small for me (couldn’t zip) so we let out the seams, and has since been taken in from there. In addition, we took up the skirt, tightened the bust, added a bustle that is so subtle it can easily be changed.

The dress is gorgeous and in perfect condition! Personally thought I wanted bright white and ultimately decided it was not the right dress for me and ended up going with a different (ivory) dress I had also loved.

Alterations

- seams let out
- taken back in to fit my shape - shortened to my height (with shoes)
- took up skirt (shown in photo)
- tightened chest area (I’m a 32B)
