The Dress

Beautiful dress! Purchased this as a sample/off the rack dress. Only selling because it needs to be taken in more and I don’t have time for a second round of alterations before my wedding so I’m going with a different dress.
Still has tags. Label size is a 12 in wedding dress sizing but had it altered to fit around a size 6 standard US size. Bustle was added and sleeves were made detachable. I was planning on wearing converse so the dress was hemmed to fit someone around 5’6 with flats or shorter with heels.
Because this dress was originally a sample it has wear on it- a few lose threads and some of the beading is a bit loose in spots. The buttons on the back also could use some sprucing up (buttons are not done up in picture which is why they look weird). When I bought the dress most buttons were missing so my seamstress had to get a bit creative when adding lace over standard satin buttons to match the original. Because of this the buttons are not uniform, but can be fixed with a good seamstress. This wear is not really noticeable to others but worth mentioning as it will likely be noticeable to the bride.
Because of this wear and the dress being a sample dress, it could use a little TLC. This is reflected in the asking price as I paid $1200 plus $500 for alterations but I’m open to offers!

Alterations

Added bustle, taken in to fit around a size 6 standard US size, and hemmed to fit someone around 5’6 with flats or shorter with heels. Straps were made detachable with metal snaps, may need to make them more secure. I planned on only wearing them for the ceremony.
