The Dress

This dress is from 1990 and is listed as Zurc for Joelle.
It is made from Ivory silk shantung fabric with alencon lace. The neckline is pleated fischeau with long, tapered net sleeves with alencon bridal points. (Model in original ad was wearing beaded gloves)
The waistline is considered basque and the dress has a chapel length train with alencon lace trim.
Special features include chandelier beads at center front (in the box they are slightly folded up) and a butterfly bow at center back. The dress has beaded & sequined lace medallion accents.
This dress was purchased at Vera's House of Bridals, Ltd in Madison, WI.

I loved the way this dress was not heavy and was comfortable the whole evening. However, this dress has moved to more states than most people. It's time to let it go.

It was professionally cleaned the Monday after our wedding and has been sealed in a box and packaged in a second box to keep it out of the light. It has been in a climate controlled home the last 33 years. If you are interested in the dress and want photos of the dress now, I'm willing to unseal it.

Alterations to this dress were minor; it was hemmed and possibly the waist might have been taken in slightly.
