The Dress

Pallas Couture Robe Mini Dress shipped from the UK from Australia following virtual fitting. The dress was ordered in a Medium - Large but I lost weight before my wedding and therefore I had a slice of fabric removed by a seamstress, so it’s now more like a 10-12. The dress is very flowy, wrap style so it could even fit a size 14 or have some more fabric removed to fit a size 8.

I am 5”11 so Pallas Couture added 2 inches onto the length, again a seamstress could shorten this if you are shorter. It’s not a super fitted dress so it can really be altered to you.

The dress is stunning! The sequins, pearls and transparent fabric make a perfect evening/ party dress and could even be worn in a non-bridal context.

It’s a slightly blush pink/ nude colour with white pearls and sequins. It looks different colours in different lights which makes it even more special!

It has bell sleeves with buttons on each side, a bloused v-neck top and the skirt is different lengths as the fabric drapes at the front. I’d recommend looking at the dress on the Pallas website and Instagram to see how others have worn it. The nude tulle belt can be tied at the front or side and you can shift the fabric over it to make it more bloused at the top or longer.

I was worried about it being too transparent but I wore a nude bodysuit underneath and you couldn’t see a thing.

I’d love someone to get as much enjoyment out of this dress as I did!

Alterations

Some of the fabric on the wrap dress removed to make it fit slightly tighter. Button added to close the bust area more.
Sequins added to belt to give it more weight to stay in place.
