The Dress

I purchased this dress right before Covid lockdown in January 2020. Once Covid happened I had to cancel my 300+ person wedding and due to restrictions could only do a 40 person wedding with no dancing. We had a curfew in NY of 10:00pm. I wore this dress from 1:00pm-9:30pm and only wore it for photos, dinner and the only dance we were allowed to do (husband and wife). This dress is basically new but the small amount of time it was worn and even used. (I’d like to note I never contracted Covid, the dress is safe from infection lol)

The straps can come off so for the slow dance I took them off. The dress has a slight shimmer to it so I uploaded a video so you can see that. I subtly sparkled throughout the night. It was my dream dress and I wish more people could have seen it.

The dress is meant to fight tight and doesn’t stretch much.

I am selling our dress because now that we are married, we are going through infertility and this will help fund our treatment.

Dress cost $3,317 and with alterations ended up costing me $4,000+.

Alterations

Dress was taken in half an inch at the chest (small boobs but you can’t tell because of my sticky bra lol I’m a cup size B), cups were added to the dress, the dress was hemmed at the bottom a little because I wore flats (I’m 5’8’’ so if your short you can definitely wear heals)

The dress has bustle buttons to the bottom so you don’t need to worry about paying to bustle your dress :)
