The Dress

I purchased my gorgeous gown from Israeli designer Michal Medina in January 2016 from Dimitra's Bridal in Chicago for my October 2017 wedding. The dress has a plunging neckline, full length sleeves, and the train is about 7 feet long with absolutely stunning lace. Originally a size 2, we made some minor alterations to tighten the sleeves and to tighten just above the hips (low-back/belly/waist). I had the top of the back custom-altered to keyhole to help keep the shoulders in place, but I actually loved the appearance of the keyhole even more than the fully open back as the lace is so beautiful. The lace at the top could be removed to make this open again for someone with the shoulders to hold it in place. I am 5'9" wearing 3 inch heels, so the dress length will fit up to 6' height. My measurements taken during alterations at the bridal boutique are bust: 31.5, waist: 25.5, hips: 35.5. The dress is equipped with a beautiful French bustle to allow for dancing! Already dry cleaned, the dress is in near perfect condition -- you'd never know it had been worn.
