The Dress

I loved my wedding gown. It is a Mikaella Lace and Tulle Wedding Dress in natural white (very slight ivory) colour.

The lace is beautiful and the fit and comfort of the dress is incredible as the lace is so soft.

The gown has lace scallop around the neckline and hem. It has a strapless sweetheart bodice and plunging neckline (see second photo) which I sewed up to make sweetheart (see last photo - this can be reversed). The skirt is fit and flare.

To make it even more special it has a removable tulle overskirt finished with 4” horsehair edging at hem and cascading lace appliqués at waist. I wore this for the ceremony (first picture) and then removed for the reception (last two photos).

I had buttons placed on the back of the dress for something a little extra, however it is a zip dress to make it easier to get into.

The dress is a small size 8 fit.

On the day of my wedding I wore a heel with a height of 2 - 3 cm.

My height is 165cm [removed].

My measurements are as follows:

Bust - 81cm
Natural waist - 69cm
Hips - 88 cm

Alterations

Alterations: I had the front sewn up to make it a sweetheart neckline (it was previously a plunge neckline) and I had buttons placed on the back of the dress for something a little extra, however it is a zip dress to make it easier to get into.
