The Dress

This dress is very unique in its design. I fell in love with it because of the sleeves that drape and because of the embroidered design. I felt totally myself in this dress. With the bustle I had added, I was able to dance my heart out! I felt floaty and whimsical. The high neck was stunning also. A bra or cups weren’t needed and I felt secure and comfortable all day - zero fear of exposing myself! The dress allowed for movement too!
The condition is literally perfect. The dry cleaner bought it back to its original condition and commented that it was very clean after my big day because country weddings don’t put grime on dresses like city weddings do! I haven’t touched it since the dry cleaner packaged it for me.
I’d love for this dress to have a second life and make someone else’s day special.

Alterations

The only reason this dress was altered was because I left ordering my size to the last minute. This gown was from the bridal lab in Adelaide. The length was shortened, shoulders & sides were taken in, the back was altered too slightly so that the sides weren’t too heavy. This made the dress a size 6/8. The seamstress was highly recommended my the bridal lab & did a perfect job! You wouldn’t tell it was an originally a 12!
