The Dress

I had an absolute blast getting married in this dress, and would like to send it off to enjoy its next chapter as your wedding dress!

So, first of all, this dress is made of the most beautiful light fabric. It's polyester - but it means it feels light, airy and absolutely freeing as you're wearing it. There's a real mix of elegance with the lines of the dress, and a lot of sexiness with the high split that is perfect for flashing your garter. It's simple to wear and just looks stunning.

There's a subtle train which looks fantastic from the back, and from the front - well the bodice is a beautiful sweetheart shape, and is very flattering. I'm a UK size 10 (US size 6), 5'8" and a 32DD bust. The only alterations I made was to take up the front of the dress by an inch, so that I wouldn't trip over it as I was walking down the aisle. As it's a simple, light fabric, it will be very easy for you to have it altered so that it fits you like a glove. I've put ivory for the colour - but to be honest, it's very close to white - just a very flattering soft white.

The dress was pretty unscathed after the wedding - no rain or mud - and I have had it professionally drycleaned.

Alterations

The front of the dress was taken up very slightly (about an inch) to enable me to walk down the aisle without treading on it. Nothing else was changed.
