The Dress

Unique, bespoke design inspired by a Berta dress, hand made by Alexander McQueen seamstress who specialises in corsetry/basques & has made designer celebrity dresses.

Constellation Ame designer (Sarah Eustace) designed the dress. Please refer to Constellation Ame Instagram to verify it’s their design.

Made with premium fabrics: tulle underlays with an outer fabric of shimmering sequin covered tulle overlaid with hand stitched quality lace appliqués. The material glistens beautifully and is very robust; does not shed any sequins or glitter. The dress is not brilliant white : the outer tulle is white with sequins but the inner lining and lace appliqués are slightly off white (not cream) which gives an overall appearance of soft white as seen on photos. I used a cathedral length Diamond White (off white) veil which was perfect with the dress.

The beautifully made corset is fully boned and inner lined with a separate zip for full support and perfect fit (no need to wear a bra). The Trumpet Style is very body hugging for a curved silhouette shape (no need to wear spanks). I am very petite at just under 5’ and used a layered tulle hooped underskirt with the dress to lift the outer layer. But the dress would also hang beautifully and slightly longer without an underskirt Suitable for anyone up to 5’2 or 5’3 as shown by measurements below.

I felt like a shimmering, sexy princess in the dress, I didn’t want to take it off. It tucked me in and supported me in all the right places (as I say, no need for bra or spanks). The dress is absolutely stunning and unique, unlike any I had seen or tried in numerous bridal shops & being overall soft/off white rather than cream/ivory makes it all the more unique and adds to the shimmer.

Condition is as new, the only minor imperfection as follows:
Having been fully dry cleaned the outer tulle layers are as new, but the inside hem of the underskirt/inner lining shows some minor scuff marks from outdoor photoshoot. These cannot be seen as they are not only on the inner lining but also covered by the other layers of shimmering tulle. I also didn’t wear fake tan so there are no tan marks.
