The Dress
I purchased this gown from Grace Loves Lace in Feb of 2022 for my Jan 2023 wedding. I am 5’3 and wore 3” heels for my wedding day. I had minor alternations done to bring in some extra fabric around my hips and raise my bustle so that the bottom of the train wouldn’t drag on the floor. I wore the dress for about 10 hours on my wedding day and there is no damage to the dress. Grace Loves Lace does not recommend dry cleaning the dress so it has been cleaned according to their instructions. There are no stains or signs of wear. The hanging loops had to be cut off because they would have popped out of the dress. However, the fabric does not wrinkle so the dress can remain folded until the day before your wedding which is also recommend by GLL.
This dress is incredibly comfortable and light. It’s so flattering and the lace fabric hid my tummy area that I am self conscious about. Hoping someone else can enjoy this dress as much as I did!
